Blue Blocks

A prefabricated resilient foundation structure in 6’x6’ hexagonal units to protect coastal properties by providing ecologically productive and secure filter-foundations. By filling with water in tidal zones above and below mean sea level at the ‘sacrificial’ grade level they do not push the problem to neighbors. THE NEW CINDER BLOCK IS A POROUS BLUE BOX. 2 Types of Blue Box Foundation Products:1. Floatable (waterside): These hollow boxes are designed to float to carry modest overbuild and encourage over-water habitat on their undersides. 2. Sinkable (land or waterside): These boxes fill with natural sediment and tidal water and are designed to serve as yard, ball field or building foundations for sites along on coastline.
