OUR NEW HOME

OUR NEW HOME

We have moved into our new home located at 153 Coffrey Street, Red Hook!

We are sharing this community space with Coffrey Street Studio (http://www.coffeystreetstudio.com) and will be hosting our events and workshops here.

A short description about Coffrey Street Studio: STUDIO 153 is an artist-led venture, dedicated to exploring the dramatic potential of constructed space through both performance and design. Located on a cobblestone street in Red Hook, the 13k square foot warehouse is ideal for a variety of productions. With a vast storage cellar, 15′ ceilings, exposed painted brick walls, concrete floors, and heavy timber columns, the space is highly photogenic.

OUR NEXT ECONOMY

OUR NEXT ECONOMY

In the past several years, the vulnerabilities of New York City’s infrastructure have been tested due to our changing climate. In the coming years, billions of dollars will be spent locally on resilient infrastructure to mitigate such vulnerabilities. Many of these infrastructural upgrades will be designed, manufactured and installed by the New York City residents. As a result, our region will see many opportunities for growth and employment in this sector in the near future.

The RETI Center invites you to participate in our inaugural conference, “OUR NEXT ECONOMY” taking place on Friday, November 18th at the Brooklyn Borough President’s office. We will be hosting a forum on “BUILDING RESILIENCE AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT IN BROOKLYN” with presentations and interactive panel discussions on the current state of the growing resilient labor market and the ways the RETI Center envisions a more just and equitable resilient future for the region.
